Those using Apologia Phy. Science...what did you do about the bulb thermometer in exp

in the experiment in Module 2, I think. I am assuming bulb thermometers are the same as the mercury thermometer? They don't make those anymore. What are you using instead? Thanks so much!

I cheated and ordered the experiment kit from Home Science Tools.

Another mom taught this in our co-op so I'm not familiar with the experiment. But I "house" all the science supplies. She purchased some like this:http://www.xump.com/science/DualThermometerBack.cfm?SID=12 except that the plastic backing was thicker. I think she got them at the local hardware store.
