The history themed programs are self-contained. They assume you are familiar with, or own, the basic teacher DVD's, called the TWSS. However, some people use the history themed programs without the TWSS.

This is NOT one of the DVD programs, it is a written curriculum, with lessons covering all nine of the units contained in IEW>

I understand.
As I checked the IEW site just now, I can see that the teacher and student together would be $49 full retail and you quoted $25 from Rainbow. Therefore, I am assuming that this is only the student book.
I appreciate your time answering my question.
