for the deal thread URL, go to the 'for sale' or 'wanted to buy' post that you either sold to or bought from. Copy the entire address that's in your browser, and paste it into the 'deal thread url' box.

Basically, it's a link to the thread that listed what was for sale that you bought. Does that make sense?
