We began IEW the second half of this year and are just using the TWSS.
I don't think I need or want the student videos, but the theme based programs are interesting me. I'm not sure exactly how they work and can't picture still being flexible and going at your dc's pace with them? Is one theme based book meant to be a complete program for the year? Would the Ancient book be appropriate for 3rd?
I also have a question about my youngest, he's a K'er this year (just turned 6), but has asked to do IEW like his older brother. He's been picking out a paragraph and we've been doing units 1 & 2, he's doing well with it, I just don't want to get stuck here until 3rd - YKWIM? With a child this young, would you still slowly progress forward?
