I am currently using WT1, and love, love, loving it with my 9 and 7yo's. Neither of them is too big on writing, and this program has started to draw them out of their little writing shells! Anyway, we will use WT 2 next year. After that, I am wondering what others use? I hear a ton about IEW, and it looks great! What level of IEW would I use for a 11yo 6th grader and a 9yo 4th grader who have completed the WT program? (At this point, I just wish WT would go on forever!)
I'm trying to do a little long-range planning tonight! TIA!

I don't know anything about IEW but I am planning on Homer A and Beginning Poetry after WT next year. It the same sort of writing program and continues with the progymn exercises.

May I ask how you use WT1 with two dc? I'd like to use it with my two oldest, but I'm not sure how to do it. Should I start my oldest first, then the youngest after a few weeks so the lessons are staggered? Do you use two workbooks? I've also thought about just starting WT2 with my 10 yo instead of doing WT1 first. Not sure of the best way to do this.

You would definitely need 2 workbooks for 2 kids because a lot of the work is done in them. I think that WT2 would be perfect for a 10yo. I will actually be doing it with a 10yo next year. My 11yo ds started with WT2 this year without doing WT1 and he loves it. My 9yo ds is using WT1 and doing well but I think it would be a bit easy for a 10yo. My 9yo is a young 4th grader and a bit immature. I just can't say enough great things about WT. I do wish that there was already a WT3.
