for 2 elderly relatives? I find myself needing to provide BF and dinner for 2 elderly relatives who would like to pay me for the groceries. I spend about $1000-$1100/month. How do I figure out my expenses for their part?
I don't need it figured out to the dime - just a ballpark figure.

I guess I'd figure out how many meals you get out of that $1000-$1100/month and divide to get an average cost per meal. Multiply by 4 per day (2 relatives eating 2 meals a day). That would give you a ballpark for costs. If they eat like birds and you are feeding large males, you might want to cut that average ballpark cost down by 25% or even 50% per meal.
