I'm a bit familiar with classic but when I went back to check on the redesign it seems that they may be different. Are they?

Yes and no. :)The redesign has new book lists as classic had many books listed that are out of print. They have made the dialect level more user friendly too... Here is a link that can help you with the difference. *Ü*

Whats the difference between Classic and Redesign? (http://www.tapestryofgrace.com/tog_fast/FAQ/classic-redes.htm#What%20is%20the%20difference%20between%2 0Classic%20and%20Redesigned%20Year-Plans?)

Each Year Plan of Tapestry Redesigned follows the same time periods that the equivalent Year Plan of Classic. For example, Year 1 is still creation to the fall of Rome; Year 2 is the fall of Rome to 1800; Year 3 is the 19th century; Year 4 is the 20th century.

I can't compare Year 1, as we've only done Redesigned, but I have done Year 2 in Classic and I noticed that some of the weekly topics have been moved around or changed in Redesigned, but there nothing seems dramatically different.

Hope this helps -
