Notgrass or BJU US History

Can anyone compare Notgrass & BJU US History?

Why would you choose one over the other?

Hi Cindy- Our expeience with BJU History was that it was borrrrring! We LOVED Notgrass American History for the conversational style writing, the great literature and the thought provoking writing assignments.

Same as Mary. BJU was just too text booky for us. We liked the style of Notgrass better.

I don't have experience with BJU, but I can tell you we had an excellent year with Notgrass American last year. It was textbooky enough for my dd who wanted to move away from lit-based history, but rich enough with the extra reading to satisfy me and to spark interest in several history topics for my dd. Highly recommend it!
