I just cannot decide WHAT to use as a good, solid grammar review with 11th grade dd. I am not doing R&S with her (she did it 2 years back in upper elem/middle school). I just want to cover everything again and incorporate the review into her lit/writing.

HELP!!

How about Bob Jones or CLE?

I love the looks of Bob Jones for 11th & 12th grades with grammar review and lit analysis. 11th grade = American Lit and 12th grade = British Lit, then add a half year of grammar & writing.

IEW Fix It! is a nice product for review.

Also, if you still have your R&S English you could have your dc just do the R&S English worksheets as review (using the text only if needed & for correction). R&S English 6 or 7 worksheets would work well and the worksheets are cheap.

My daughter used R&S from grades 3-8. She is now, for her freshman year, using Analytical Grammar and loving it. We're going to span it over her 9th and 10th grade years.

We are doing Analytical Grammar also for son's 10th grade year. Although it suggests 10 weeks, we will work on it most of the year since we've taken 2 years off of formal grammar study.

How would you use the, "Blue Book," and/or, "The Only Grammar Book You'll Ever Need?"

Since I have them both, I have decided that I should actually use them for grammar. I also have the Kilgallon grammar books and sentence composing books.

Ideas for how to make all these resources work??
