Notgrass American History 1st/2nd Editions

Does anyone know the difference between the 1st & 2nd editions? Is it a big enough difference to need the 2nd edition or would a used 1st edition be just as good?

I asked Mr. Notgrass the same question at a homeschool convention and he said it was basically the same. They updated the covers and there is some added information, but he said if you have the older version, it is fine.

Relieved to find out that the new Notgrass Exploring American and Government looks the same from the previous edition. The only difference I noticed is that the new Exploring America have all the supplement reading published in a single book, American Voices.

I don't know about Notgrass Exploring World History since I only have the most recent edition.
