I have a Hamilton Beach hand mixer that I like pretty well. It's nice because it comes with two sets of beaters and a whisk attachment, plus a case to hold everything.

For really heavy duty mixing though, I use my stand mixer. Here's the link to the one I have:

hand held mixer for more years than I can remember - at least 14, and it's still going strong.

What do you use it for?

I use my Magic Bullet for everything I used my hand blender for. We had a Bamix for about as long as I can remember... I don't even know where it came from, but it was excellent. I really don't know what happened to it. I think it got lost in a move.

Another vote for the Kitchenaid hand mixer. I've had it for years and years and it's still going.
