Why is Chalkdust so expensive?

I was looking into using Chalkdust Algebra 1 next year. But, it's prohibitively expensive! Why is it so much money? Also, can I purchase it anywhere cheaper?

I'm glad we found the vhs version on ebay.

Ds doesn't exactly love Dana Mosely...of course, he doesn't love anyone who's trying to teach him anything:rolleyes:

Still, it's just a book and dvd's (or in my case vhs tapes)...

We are outsourcing math next year.
It's more expensive, but at least he can talk to his teacher on a regular basis.
Mr. Mosely does make himself available for emails and phone calls, but I think ds will do better with an actual teacher at the chalkboard who can answer questions right away.
