I have a dd who will frequently say the wrong answer (over and over) even though I know that she knows the information. It is like some sort of short circuit. Then, she gets mad and defensive when I point out that she misspoke. A second later she'll do it again. It is so frustrating and I do not know how to help her or what it even is that would cause her to do this. This is not new just getting ridiculous. Please help.

We just correct them each and every single time that they do it. It will sink in eventually...or not!

my son was doing this and we were told it is called expressive language delay.

we were told to teach on many levels and not just to what he seemed to learn from. so now everything is taught to all learning styles. i think more review is helping him.

and he has expressive language disorder as well. It is very frustrating for both him and I because he does often know the answer, but just has difficulty getting it out.
