I would like to help my son improve his writing skills for the rest of 8th grade and for high school next year. We need help writing essays, reports, comparison papers. We have really only done some creative writing and I feel like he needs more direction from me. I also need to know how to critique better and give better direction for his writing.
I already have TOG, but would be willing to get IEW if it would help sooner. I don't want to use TOG for the next two years, realize it isn't really working, PANIC, and then switch to IEW.
Any help would be so appreciated. You are all my most valued support group as I start high school with my son. Thanks so much!
