Does SAT prep work benefit the PSAT experience?

I'm curious to hear from others who have "gone before" as to whether or not SAT prep work can benefit/enhance PSAT performance. TIA!

Certainly!

The PSAT is really just a shorter SAT without an essay requirement (though some schools have the students do the essay portion for practice). I tutor SAT-prep and the materials I use for the PSAT approach the test the same way my SAT materials do. "Rocket Revolution" is a commonly recommended tool for SAT prep, it's full of tips and strategies, all of which would certainly be helpful for the PSAT as well.
