For those who have used Analytical Grammar, how long does a day's work take?

We have used Easy Grammar & ABeka Grammar. How does content and depth compare to these two?
Thank you,
Cindy

For us it took about 15-30 minutes (depending on how familiar it was) to go over each new topic (about once a week). Then the student does the exercises independently - that takes my ds about 45-60 minutes for each + time to check it/review it. I don't know if he is slow because he gets bored or if that is normal! When you get to the review sections, it takes much less time - the first few weeks each year are the most time-consuming. Sorry I can't compare to the other two as we haven't used them.

We had done Winston Grammar and Abeka, so Analytical was review. My son did it independently (he was 14) and it took between 20-30 min a lesson.

I think Abeka had more review. Analytical would take the topic for a week and then move on. Abeka constantly reviews and has more questions for each. For us, Analytical was perfect. My son felt like he had done enough grammar. Doing a one year summary made sure we reviewed everything and hadn't missed anything. If you have not done any grammar previously, you probably need to explain the material and go slowly to make sure your student understands everything.

Our experience has been similar to CO Mom. 15min to teach, 45min to complete work and check.
