View Full Version : Essay writing -- IEW or...?

I have a student who needs a nuts-and-bolts essay-writing course. We've used IEW in the past, but didn't do SWI-C (not the basic one or the continuation one). She's not a great writer, and not a creative writer, but just needs the basics. (She's not taking the SAT, so we don't really need an SAT-focus course.)
TIA for any suggestions!

I really like the Elegant Essay book that IEW sells. I believe it's only $30 and goes step by step with practice along the way.

May I ask question about this? :D
I was looking at that book on CBD, and was wondering if it could be used alone, or if you have to do the whole IEW caboodle to benefit from it?
Thanks!

It can be used alone with no problem.
