This one is my favorite, although it doesn't use frozen rolls. I'd imagine you could make it work. The important part isn't the rolls as much as it is the "sauce" ;)

Would this work with instant pudding and do I need to defrost the rolls all the way?
thanks

I defrost the rolls just enough to cut them apart. I use dry instant pudding mix. You are just mixing it dry with the other ingredients. The bread defrosts and rises in the refrigerator overnight. All you have to do in the morning is take it out and put it in the oven. I love that. I went back and clarified on the recipe. Hopefully, it makes sense. It is sooo easy!

This recipe looks good too although the one I was looking for uses vanilla pudding. I'll have to give this one a try too. Yummy!

Thank you so much, I have the rolls defrosting now. Will it matter that I don't have a bunt pan?

You may not have to cook them as long. You want a casserole dish over a shallow cake pan. The rolls on bottom are what get all gooey and sticky. If you have too much surface area exposed to the oven, they'll just be drier. KWIM??

For Scouts, we just melt butter in the bottom of a heavy pot, quarter biscuit dough and toss it in the pot, sprinkle on cinnamon and sugar, toss to coat and heat (covered) until the dough has risen and set up.

Thank you! I now have a batch of monkey bread in the oven. The kids will be very happy tonight. :D
