I'm planning on about 3 hours 20 minutes of work in "Logic" each week, to allow for some other things. That will (just barely!) get us a credit. But I'm not sure how soon that will allow us to finish the first book. The exercises do not look overwhelmingly long, but I know from trying Intro to Logic that I am not a good judge of anything related to Logic - LOL!

Thanks!

And that was enough, sometimes he rolled some over to the next week. We only discussed the case studies, he didn't write them up; that would take longer.

So 3 hrs. 20 min. would have been plenty for us.

He finished the book in one semester. I think we did 1 chapter per week or something like that. I think I read somewhere on this board that it would be good to finish it a few wks. early and start book 2, which takes a little longer than a semester.

Your schedule sounds very do-able. Logic 2 is more indepth, and will probably require more time

Great to know!

Thanks for this info. Can you count Traditonal Logic 1 as a full hs credit? We're not planning to do 2 until her sophomore year to fit other things in. If TL 1 isn't enough, we have other things we can easily add in.

You can easily finish the first book in less than a semester working this much per week. The second book is going to be more time intensive as you get about mid-way into it....

Thanks. Finances prohibit us getting the second one now. I'll add things to what we're doing, and give dd a longer semester when we get to the second one.
