I went with the traditional pre-algebra and was glad I did, but the difference between these two is not as obvious. What IS the difference?

What sayeth the hive? I order tomorrow...

Thanks!

My Larson textbook has "2nd edition" printed on it.

My suggestion is to call or e-mail Professor Mosely and ask him. I know he has a section on his FAQ about the differences between the traditional and new Geometry.

Yes, there is a new edition to the Algebra I text. There is nothing on the website about it yet. Unfortunately, the solutions manual for the older edition is backordered and likely to go out of print. If you want a solutions manual, you have to buy the newer edition, which is fine, except that the solutions manual coveres odd numbered problems only. I've asked if there is an answer key available for the even numbered problems, but I won't have an answer till next week.
