Hi,
I am leery of taking the plunge with online tutorials. I am looking at the Classical Writing but am not super sure. If I am completely honest, I don't feel my questions emailed to them have been clearly answered. Seems to me that if you are teaching a writing class you would give through answers. Sight unseen it is hard to make an almost $500 decision without full knowledge.

If it helps, this would be for my 14 son who is not a writer due to my failings in the area of teaching him writing. In my defense, I am a bit intimidated by the whole process but am determined not to let that stop me from providing my children with the opportunity to learn this much needed skill.

So, anyone have experience with tutorials, specifically writing?

Thanks much,
Magistra Michelle

Why not seek out shorter term writing experiences to see if online works for your ds?

I have used several Bravewriter (http://www.bravewriter.com/program/online-classes/) courses (Kideswrite Intermediate and Expository Essay)with good results. 8 weeks is enough time to get some good instruction, but not so long that as to be unendurable if he hates it.
