All have annotations in the sidebars on each page along w/ maps, diagrams, illustrations, factual notes, and other interesting info throughout. Kinda like the modern "The Whole Story" series, but more....classic All are Complete and Unabridged.
$10 each.
The Heroes [Greek myths} by Charles Kingsley [#10 in the series]
Black Beauty by Anna Sewell
Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson

OOP:
~1901~ Prose and Verse - $25
This is an old HB cloth-cover book copyrighted 1901 by Rev. J. M. Greene.
It is listed on Amazon for over $50, and some kind soul has scanned it in as a PDF if you do a google search for it.
Go read it online, and if you like it, let me know --there's nothing like holding a rare old book in your hands
It has a stain on the front cover and blue-marbled edges of the pages. For a book this old, it is in sturdy condition. No loose pages; sewn binding.
has a light purple stamp of "J. E. Vinson." on the inside front cover page and again on the title page. A handwritten note of "From Brother and Sister Vinson to their Esteemed Friend, Miss Lauren. Jan. 1st, 1904"
Lots of history and literature in this tome!
---------------------------
~1907~ Adventures in Contentment by David Grayson - $10
HB, light green cloth cover w/ inset bookplate on cover.
no dust jacket; bit of a crease running down the spine, but binding is tight and pages are not loose. This book is in pretty good condition for its age.
You can read the whole thing at the gutenburg project's site, but there's nothing like holding an old rare book in your hands
Check it out online, then let me know if you'd like your own copy.
