If you have done ASL for your foreign language, how did you know what would be considered two years worth? I have purchased Ready, Set, Sign and a book (I forget the name and I'm not home so I can't check) by Mickey Flodin that was recommended. I'm just not sure how to pace it, or how much would be worthy of the two years he needs.
Thanks,
Dana

I've no sign language experience but do have a suggestion.
You can use Google to locate some different syllabi. Googling sign language high school syllabus brought up many finds. Here are two:
Syllabus 1 (http://www.ihs.issaquah.wednet.edu/Teachers/gremmertr/index/ASL_1/asl1syllabus.htm)
and Syllabus 2 (http://www.scribd.com/doc/6226375/ASL-1-Course-Syllabus)
If you Google for college level syllabi, remember that a year long college class is often considered roughly equivalent to two years of at the high school level.
