I just thought I'd introduce myself, as I am brand new to these boards. I'm the mother of four children, and I recently withdrew my oldest child from public high school and am homeschooling him, using The Well-Trained Mind. A few years ago, I homeschooled my two youngest children too, but they have since returned to public school, although it's tempting to me to remove my youngest child and homeschool him again.

I'm also a nursing student. My husband is an ER nurse at a large trauma center. I'll probably be hanging out in the high schooling forum, mostly. :)

Welcome aboard, Patience. I hope your name stands you in good stead! I always laugh when people tell me they would have the patience to homeschool. I lift my eyebrows and say, "Oh DEAR! I didn't know I was supposed to be PATIENT!". I'll leave that to you, I guess. (smile)
