One day last week, my kid posted on his social networking page how much he loved his sister and that she was "the bomb diggity." :lol:

The next day another post appears:

So, if my sister is "the bomb" and I'm "the nuke" and my brother is "fr*** the tank." And my parents made us, that means that my parents are like russians. Ha Ha.

My kids and their friends all have such wry humor!

was house-sitting for a friend for most of our 2 week PS holiday. She's done this before & looks at it as practice living on her own. After a couple days away from home she mentioned to me that she now knew why people got married---it was to share with the housework! :lol: She was finding that doing the simple day-to-day household chores were taking up a lot of her time after working all day.
