I have a question about their history DVDs. Are they more of a secular mindset in regards to history? Do they talk about Biblical history at all? Also in regards to US history....what is their mindset on this part of history? Providential or ??
Thanks

We have been using the U.S. History lecture series (we're Catholic). So far, so good. I'm not sure if it is secular, but I like it that I can't tell. I would not call it providential, though. Even at this point if I were to disagree with one of the professors, I'd agree to disagree - the series is that good.

No, the US history is not providential.
Unless the course is about the bible, biblical history is considered within its context. For example, the Foundations of Western Civ course includes a lecture about Abraham.
Holly, I would check to see if your library has any of these before you order them. Very often there will be some somewhere in a good library system. And TTC offers a Lifetime money back guarantee. If you decide a year after you have had a course that you don't like it, you can return it for a refund. I've purchased oodles of sets. BUT I have returned a set over a year after I purchased it and I received a prompt, no questions asked, refund. You really can try a set to see if you like it. If you get free shipping, you are only risking the cost of return shipping.
(I LOVE TTC. A huge asset to our home school.)
Peace,
Janice
