Hi,
I'm overwhelemed trying to decide on a strong history/lit/writing program?
Tapestry looks strong but not sure if it's strong enough for high school? Although it looks like it would be good for my 10 yr. old for the rest of his studies.
Looks like we'd still have to add SAT vocab study, Science (Apologia Chem), Math (finishing Inductive Geometry & then to Algebra 2), Spelling Power & we'd continue with Poetry through Memorization. She also plays piano & harp, dances ballet & tae kwon do class. So we're busy!

Has anyone used it for high school? or do you have other recs?
My daughter loves to read history & is a strong writer. I wanted to get more into analytical writing. She doesn't need any work on comprehension. She has an almost photographic mind.

Thanks for the guidance,
Cindi:tongue_smilie:

Rest easy, Cindi,
TOG is MORE than sufficient for high school. If you do everything as written at the R level, it is very honors worthy for both history and literature. You can also add in church history, philosophy, government, and even art/music appreciation, all with TOG!
Hope this helps!
Blessings,
April

Thanks April,
How would you apply credits to this curic? 1 credit for each subject covered (Hx,Lit,Relig,Philosophy,...)

Hello again!
History and Lit/English are 1 credit each, government is .5, and I think music/art and phil are also .5 each. I would have to check on church history (in year 1 it is an awesome Bible survey and then early church studies) - I can't remember if that is .5 or 1 since we didn't use their ch hist this year.
Hope this helps!
Blessings,
April
