Just read them 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. They were both on my bed... I read my dd her 4 books and then it was my ds's turn. I started reading 20,000 Leaues Under the Sea-- dd fell asleep in 2 minutes and then ds fell asleep after 5. This has never happened before. It has always been a dream of mine.... to read a book and have them fall asleep (just like in the movies) Oh and it worked on dh too. All of them are sleeping. :)

That's awesome....
I started reading "The Well-Educated Mind" last nite because I was so embrassed that I couldn't understand a page I read (when Captain Nemo was describing how the Nautilas worked and its dimensions). That's probably why they fell asleep.... The funny thing was that I bought the "Classic Starts" just so my son would be interested in it and it worked, but I felt like there was something missing.... so I halfway through the book I returned it and got the unabridge version. WOW, there was such a big difference! I was never read to as a child and grew up reading cliff notes for school.

I hope nobody found it offensive... I was making fun of myself last nite.
