Hi. I'd like to start teaching my children more about what goes on in the world. I'm wondering if there are any newspapers or magazines that report global news specifically for children? I know Time has a magazine for kids...does anyone subscribe and if so what do you think? I have a 5yo and an 8yo. I'm looking for real news, just reported on their level. Does something like this exist? TIA

I would ask at your library. You could then "preview" some of the magazines by checking them out.

I think I found something. It's called Our Little Earth, World News for Young Citizens. I viewed some samples and it looks like what I was searching for. If you want to check it out it's ourlittleearth.com.
