My 6 1/2 yr ds just read the Gr. Illus. version of Kidnapped. He told me that those people in that book needed grammar lessons! He said that they used "ye" instead of "you".
I told him that it is and was considered proper, especially in those times. He said, "Yeah, that was in the day of King George or something, I think."
