Spring break starts tomorrow...

It lasts for 9 days.

I do not believe I am going to survive it. If it were my call, a certain college student would be taking up the offer from a generous aunt for spring break lodging. And my life would go on as normal next week.

But it was not my call. And a certain college student called last night to lay out her demands.

And my husband is meeting every one of them.

I love my husband, you know I do. But he goes to work all day. He is not trapped here with her all. day. long.

I seriously considered packing the kids up and leaving town. But someone does not want to miss two ballet classes this close to recital time. And someone else does not want to miss Boy Scouts and youth. And someone else has missed two weeks of flute because her teacher has been sick, she does not want to be the one to cancel the next lesson.

It is going to be a hard nine days.

Do you have a plan for maintaining your sanity? What will you do, specifically, when certain predictable situations arise?

Do you have a plan for REST for you EACH DAY?

When my difficult relations invade my life, I find that a plan, thought out in advance, saves. my. life.
