The article assumes that people only homeschool for religious reasons or those who activities don't allow them to school normally ie gymnasts and actors. They left out a lot of this board who homeschool (secularly or otherwise) for educational reasons. :rolleyes:

The article just promotes the stereotype of the extremely religious homeschooler who is trying to keep their child sheltered from outside influence. No mention of the many homeschoolers who have other reasons.
