Grammar Key users?

Hi,

Do any of you know anything about Grammar Key? :bigear: My 17 yos is interested in it because it is all done on the computer. I like the fact that it is one less subject to teach and correct (and reteach and recorrect!:glare:). He did Easy Grammar Plus for 10th grade and I wasn't really impressed with that. I have 2 other kids using Analytical Grammar and I like that program but it seems way to much and too hard for my 17 yos.

Any pros or cons?

I've worked through both their grammar program and their mechanics program at the "professional" level. I've really liked it. My rising 7th grader has worked through most of the 6th grade grammar program. He'll do the mechanics one this coming year.

I don't know that I would use this as a sole source of grammar. I think the lessons move a little too fast for that. I love it as practice and reinforcement. If your ds has already had a fair amount of grammar, I think it would be excellent to reinforce. The grammar program comes with a printable workbook with the lessons included. The mechanics program includes only printable worksheets minus the lessons.

Do you have any specfic questions I can answer?
