I am an old person, and am studying Latin on my own. During my first year, I completed Orberg's "Familia Romana," and the second year, Sanford's and Scott's "A Second-Year Latin Reader." Sanford's and Scott's book consists mostly of Caesar's "Gallic War."

I would be very grateful for advice as to a third-year program. Has anyone experienced either Jenney's or Henle's third year book? I am happy with Sanford and Scott, and would cheerfully go on to their 3rd-year book, except that I cannot find a teacher's manual to enable me to check my translations.
