This is my first year that I have actually known what I was doing, as far as planning for next year goes. I've bought a lot of used stuff already, and have a solid list of the rest of the materials that I need for next year. I am wondering when/if most publishers and companies have good sales on their products? Mostly cirriculum books and such. Are there some that never do?

I still need my CLE materials, Apologia courses, STOW stuff, Lightening Lit stuff, and some SOS courses.

Not sure if any of this stuff will ever go on a sale of any kind. Last year, I pretty much paid full price for everything! Ack! I didn't realize back then that there was such a used market!

Anyway, any pointers would be very appreciated!

Start looking in May/June for the best deals, when people are finishing their school year and getting rid of stuff. For new stuff, I couldn't tell you.

Personally, I keep a running list and check several discount web sites each week, then buy along the way for the next year. Anything I haven't found by the first of July, I buy at full price.
