Well, flu like symptoms hit me 1am Tues morning. I started Tamiflu that day. I wonder - have any of you experienced GI distress with this medicine (gas, bloating, nausea, etc)? I understand the nausea could be flu related but it's almost been incessant even when the aches and pains are lighter. Ah, well, just wondering....

Tamiflu usually causes GI issues. DD had vomiting and 'other' issues too. It usually lasts 1-2 days--but the flu without treatment can last 2 weeks!

Oh yes, Tamiflu is horrid! Throwing up is just what you need when you already feel so awful from the flu symptoms. I read, after the fact, that as many as 40% of Tamiflu users have stomach upset. It wasn't just a little discomfort either; it resembled food poisoning. I will never take it again. Ever. Amen.

Dayquil/Nyquil depending on the time, plus Ibuprofen to keep the fever under control. Finally felt better after 10 days. Still tired, though.
