United Streaming Oh my gosh!!!!

Thank you to whomever posted about this being available to hs families from homeschool buyers co-op for half the price!! I had been looking at United Streaming for a few weeks, trying to justify the cost. Now that I have signed up, I see just how incredible this is! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Can someone tell me a few things that will justify this to my dh. I can get it through that coop website since they extended the discount through March, but dh doesn't think we'll use it. Since I've never homeschooled, I don't know if we would or not, but it seems like a lot of people like it and it just sounds really cool. Anything, specific examples would be great, that I could say to sway him.

We use it for three different classes -- science, history, and Spanish. Sometimes we use it 3 times a day. Perhaps there's an occasional day that we don't use it at all, like when we're doing something else in all three of those classes; but that doesn't happen often. We use it, and we love it. I considered it a bargain at full price. But with this discount, it's a REAL bargain!

We can only get dial up in our area and I'm pretty sure it would just be too slow to be useful, but does anyone know for sure?
