Old homeschooler/New at posting - pen pals

I posted on the "networking" board and it turned out to be "notworking" - nobody replied. My question is: I have a 11 year old daughter that has a pen pal that has not been writing - well obviously that doesn't work well. She would actually like to write letters to somebody in the states and maybe somebody internationally - Canada would be great (since I am Canadian) We use this for English too - handwriting, grammar, sentence structure, etc. I would like to go the way of the postman just because it has become somewhat of a lost art. I am not opposed to emailing at some point BUT I am talking about a good old fashioned pen pal. Does this appeal to anybody????
