Will this cover all the bases for a complete geometry program? I've ordered it for my rising 8th grader to use next year after he finishes his Algebra 2 program.
I haven't heard a lot about it, but I love the looks of the program. Anyone use it as a stand alone program?

I haven't used it personally, but I have a couple of homeschool friends who have. It's a more-than-complete program, and you'd be fine using it stand-alone. Enjoy, AoPS is wonderful!

Thanks, Kathy. I'm looking forward to using it. I'm currently going trough the Counting and Probablity book myself and really wish it had been available when I was in school - what fun!

We are using AoPS Geometry right now! I used it with my older ds when he was in 10th grade and my younger ds is trying to get geometry done this summer. It is challenging and very thorough. Proofs are covered throughout the course, but they use a paragraph proof style rather than a 2-column style. They also include "bogus solutions" at various places to show students why some answers are wrong or incomplete. Have fun with geometry!
Blessings,
April
PS After completing this course, my older son didn't miss any geometry problems on the PSAT. Hopefully he does as well on the SAT!

I purchased my books from Rainbow Resource (if you have their huge catalog, you will get some information). But this is the website (http://www.artofproblemsolving.com/Books/AoPS_B_Texts_FAQ.php) for the books.
