The mom complaining about "I know! Right?" should *really* watch it!

Where's Anj? ;)

When I was skimming through my copy of TWTM the other day, I saw one of my favorite quotes, something I should have my sons write in their copy books a kajillion times, "Again, it is absurd to hold that a man ought to be ashamed of being unable to defend himself with his limbs, but not of being unable to defend himself with speech and reason, when the use of rational speech is more distinctive of a human being than the use of his limbs." ~ Aristotle.

Thanks for sharing that one. I'm going to show it to my teen students.

That was terrific! Thanks for sharing. I also really enjoyed his other skits, especially "What does a teacher make..." Very inspiring!

Did you see this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxsOVK4syxU&feature=related) on "What Teachers Make"? It's probably not for under-age viewing (there's a choice gesture), but it actually made me tear up. I think homeschooling parents will particularly appreciate what he's saying.

Edited to add: I just saw that Lucy posted the same thing. Sorry for the duplication!

Yup Yup Yup. Makes me feel proud that I made my dd cry yesterday when she had to rewrite a senseless sentence.
