What are my options?
I am not sure what to do.
At first I thought I would use Writing with Ease- but then I realized the workbook for my son will not be available yet?
If I use Rod and Staff English 3 do I still need a writing program?
Anyone have any advice?
Thanks for any help,
Rebecca

You won't need a separate writing program with R&S. We are below level for writing so I am planning on using WWE with the level 2 wkbk. You don't have to have the wkbk for the levels in WWe. It just saves time. SWB said the book gives you the entire program, the wkbk is just convience/timesaving. (And, no I can't spell after 10pm. :) )

No, R&S grammar includes writing instruction, so you do not need another writing program to go along with it. However, I use Classical Writing to supplement our R&S grammar studies. The CW program starts in 3rd grade. Here are a few links to learn more about it:

We use R&S 3 for grammar with Writing Tales 1. We do R&S lessons orally, with some of the written lessons and worksheets. I really like WT because I feel it reinforces our grammar.

you can use it without the workbooks. My other favorite is Writing Tales.
