keeping in mind that I have 9 children, so it's bound to be well used for lower levels and college level science.

Have you checked out Sonlight Curriculum's microscope which they sell with their Biology course? It looks like a great deal to me. $240

240 for the curricu and the micro or just the micro? off to try and figure them out.

Martha, my husband got some very good deals on eBay, buying 'scopes from universities and labs when they were upgrading. The most important thing to pay attention to is GREAT OPTICS.
