Well then, Hi Susan C.!!
I have not done the BJU chemistry dvds (11th grade), but everyone I know that has done it has liked the teacher. I did look at the tests, I wouldn't call them rigorous, there is a lot of partial credit, and if it is like the physics class, they grade on the curve.

My ds loved Mr. Harmon and he did well in the class. I think the DVD tests are different than the ones that come in the test packet, because the tests that came with the DVDs are mostly true/false and multiple choice, with a few calculation type problems (i.e., no partial credit). Also, there wasn't any "curve" for the class. I will say that the "homework" grades helped my sons average for the class quite a bit (my ds hasn't quite learned how to study for a test, yet!). I think the class is a solid high school class. HTH.
