Has anyone used this with a 3 and 4 year old? What did you think? Was it worth the money? Were the activities doable for this age range? Did your child enjoy it? Was the knowledge gained useful? Looking back, would you have chosen something else?
I am looking at secular preK. I have seen and tried Letter of the Week Prep. I have also considered Oak Meadow's Kinder as it is more like a preK and a very gentle K.
Thanks!

I used it with dd when she was 4. The letters and numbers are not the main emphasis of this program and it spends very little time on them. There are lots of art ideas, stories and games. We enjoyed the curriculum a lot. The Calvert Lesson manual is much more explicit than OM. It gives detailed, step by step daily lesson plans. I don't think it's worth the $300 Calvert charges, but it pops up frequently on ebay.

I used Calvert Pre-K and K with my middle ds, with my youngest I went with Horizons Pre-K. My middle really didn't like the choice of stories, they were too long for the age and didn't have pictures. He enjoyed the games and crafts. We supplemented their workbooks, they didn't teach how to write either.
We also school secularly. Horizons Pre-K can easily be used secularly and is 1/3 of the cost. Do a search on this board for it and it will link you do more discussions and samples.
