I am ordering WT 1 and 2 student workbooks for my dds. Are the teacher manuals necessary? If I do not buy them what will I miss? Thanks.

Yes, you need the teacher's manual.

Sorry. I didn't read your entire email. The TM gives you directions on what to do each day. It also gives directions on how to play the games. Answers for all of the student workbook questions are also included. I think it's an invaluable tool.

Dorothy, I agree you want the tm's, as they have all the fun stuff from the lessons and make it easy to teach. We've had some snow days with my co-op class, and even when I teach it to just my one dd, I read the lesson straight from the tm. I like using the co-op lessons btw, where we do it once a week. I do a lot of the assignments with the class and they complete the rest at home. Your older student doing WT2 can especially do this. Is there any way to combine them both into one level, or are they too far apart?
