I have both books (revised editions) and Microworlds EX for sale. Everything is in excellent condition.
Computer knowledge is critical for not only most jobs, but even college and high school! Computer skills are becoming necessary for almost every facet in life, but teaching it can often be left by the wayside. Written for novice teachers who want their children to learn computer science, "pure and simple" chapters use photos of actual web browsers, icons, etc. for maximum clarity. Chapters are arranged in a mixture of short, introductory lessons and followed by a more in depth review.
In Book 1, students will learn about internet design, word processing, animation, spreadsheets and more. In Book 2, Using MicroWorlds to practice computer command skills, students will learn how to create five more advanced games using procedure inputs/outputs, create a two-to-four page website, learn DOS, basic HTML, and more. Safe surfing instructions are also covered, helping parents to instill computer safety, as well as computer programming, in their children.
Assignments and answers included. Book 1 is for grades 5 and up. Book 2 is for grades 7 and up.
I would like $125 ppd for the set. I only accept money orders.
