Is it necessary to complete Apologia Zoology I b4 Zoology II?

On the Apologia site it says that Zoology I should come first. Can someone tell me why...or tell me if you've used Zoo II first without a problem.

After using both books, the only reason for doing I before II is that the first chapter of Zoology I is titled, "What is Zoology". It goes over terms used in classification and binomial nomenclature. These words are used in Zoology II without explanation. But this is only the 1st 5 pages of Zoo I. I think if you talk about these terms when they are used in Zoology II, you should be just fine doing it first.

The series is also following the days of creation which may be another reason why they recommend a certain study sequence, maybe...
