My son is doing apologia chemistry this year and my plans were for him to do the advanced chemistry next year. I am thinking of having him do chemistry at the community college instead. Would I list the chemistry he did at home at just chemistry and the CC one as advanced or as...?
Thanks!

How about
Chemistry
General Chemistry 103 (or whatever the designation is)

I listed Apologia Chemistry on the transcript under sciences (we used a subject rather than a chronological transcript format) and then listed the actual course title for the cc chem under the same heading, further down the list. We placed an asterisk next to all cc courses with a note at the bottom that these courses were taken at...blah,blah,blah college. It was assumed that the cc chem course was more advanced and comprehensive than the high school course and not just a duplicate.

Sounds good, Pam. Thanks! Lisa, we did the * near CC courses too, but the same course name was throwing me. I think listing the actual college name makes sense. Now, why didn't I think of it myself ? LOL

Yes, I would make sure to note that the college classes were "dual credits".
