anyone here who had dont LLATL all the way up through HS??

Did you find it was sufficient?? I would like to take a break from all the workbook stuff and do something integrated using literature for dd4th next year. But, if we like it....then i will probably stay with it. I have heard that it is weak with spelling...but i dont mind because she is a natural speller. I just wonder if the writing portion will be sufficient?? thanks!

We did several years of LLATL all the way to American Gold. We did do a year or two of ABeka just to make sure that the kids had what they needed. Some prefer to use Daily Grams along with LLATL cuz it is short and sweet and provides the drill some need. It all depends on your child. *I* find the writing sufficient, especially in the Gold level, but everyone has their expectations. Personally LLATL receives 2 thumbs up from me! :)
