Questions for those who have used A Becka's Consumer math curricula

There are a variety of books that A Beka wants me to purchase for the consumer math. For those who have used these products, did you find the Teacher's edition necessary? In addition, Cathy Duffy's review states the Test and Quiz book is probably not needed. Did you find that to be true?
